Certain microgreens are safe for dogs. Many Hamama fur-friends enjoy eating greens. Microgreens have high levels of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, and folate, plus a variety of minerals such as magnesium, calcium and iron, which is beneficial for dogs. To add these microgreens to your dog's diet, you can chop them up or blend them before mixing them in with their regular pet food. The recommended guideline for mixing microgreens with their food is that microgreens should represent approximately 10% of their diet. However, some microgreens may be toxic for dogs, so please so speak with your vet before adding anything to your dog's diet.

Yes! We've converted thousands of plant killers into plant lovers. We believe in the simplicity of our growing system! Because you don't have to remember to water, there's nothing to mess up.
20. What's the difference between microgreens and sprouts?
Sprouts are the first visible stage of germination & microgreens are the next stage (after the first set of cotyledons and sometimes true leaves show, but before the second set). Sprouts take under a week to grow while microgreens take around 7-21 days, depending on the variety. Unlike microgreen seeds, sprout seeds are grown in water and need to be rinsed twice a day to ensure that they do not mold.
21. What is a Seed Quilt?
Our patented Seed Quilts make growing microgreens a breeze! Seed Quilts combine seeds and growing substrates in a clever way to make a mess-free, convenient growing experience for you like none other!
Just place your Seed Quilt in your Hamama grow tray with water and watch your microgreens grow in a week! We have more than ten different varieties and we always have new seasonal limited edition varieties to try!
